Would anyone like a carrot?

McKinlea grew her first vegetable at LPS. She brought home her carrots and was very excited. Here they are. We washed and cleaned the bigger ones. Even Kennedy enjoyed some fresh produce tonight. McKinlea's Great-Grandfather's would be proud!

Kennedy at 19 months

My sweet baby girl is almost 19 months old. I can not believe how fast these months are flying by. She went to the doc. on Friday for her 18 month check up.

Here are the latest stats:

Weight: 24 lbs (50%)

Height: 32 1/2 in. ( 50-75%)

Head size: 48 1/2 (90-97%)

Maybe the big head means she has a huge brain :)

The picture below is just too cute. It is so funny how 2 children from the same gene pool can be so different. McKinela never wanted to sleep with dolls or blankies. Kennedy, however, always wants to have something in the crib with her. She decided the other night that she wanted her baby doll with her. This doll is almost as big as she is. The doll went into the bed with her, but I was going to get it out later (the doll makes noises and her checks light up). When I went in to get the doll, this is what I found. I could not help but laught. It was just too cute.

What a great Daddy!!!!

This is what John came home with after his "Father/Daughter" night at LPS. He said he was the only Daddy getting his nails painted (with paint, not nail polish). What a great Dad!

First Minnie Ears

Kennedy got her first "Minnie Ears" from Uncle Robert this weekend. She loves them. It is tradition from Uncle Robert.

Ballet Time

McKinlea got her ballet costume today and she was so excited. She wanted to have her recital today. What a big girl!

Daddy's Buddy

McKinlea and Daddy had a special night at school. Daddy got his own invitation for some father/daughter time. Guess this makes up for Father's Day being in the summer. They were both so excited. Here are some pics from before they left.
